PRINTING DISABLED ON SOCIAL BOOTH: Under the "Printing" tab, ensure auto-print" setting is checked

DS40 AS DEFAULT PRINTER: If you accidentally plug the Printer USB cord in any of the other ports of the hub, extra versions of the printer will appear in the software within the "Printers & Devices" folder. To remedy this:

1. Plug the USB back into the "Printer" port of the hub
2. Open "Devices & Printers" shortcut on desktop
3. Select original version of DS40 Printer, hold down the icon, select "Set as Default"

THERE IS A PAPER JAM

SOLUTION: Open the paper drawer and firmly pull the paper out of the feed. The paper will be all crinkled and messed up. Switch to a new roll. Do not throw away the jammed role.

CAMERA IS HAVING A HARD TIME FOCUSING

SOLUTION: On the Alien Bee flash, press "TRACK" button. The flash should get brighter.

PRINTER IS PRINTING OUT PAST EVENT'S IMAGES

SOLUTION: Access the control panel -> devices and printers -> right click (hold down) “DS40” -> see what’s printing -> file -> cancel all documents. Afterwards give the computer some time to reset.

FLASH IS NOT FIRING

SOLUTION: Make sure the sync cord (curly cord one) is plugged into both the top of the camera and the the flash. Double check and see if the strobe is on and working by hitting the red "TEST" button. If you're having trouble screwing the sync cord into the camera, unscrew and slide off the hot-shoe adapter (black square that the sync cord is plugging into on top of the camera), reconnect the sync cord to the adapter and then reattach the adapter with the secured sync cord and feed the sync cord back out through the top hole of the brain.

PHOTOS NOT SYNCING BETWEEN PHOTO BOOTH AND Social Sharing

SOLUTION: Make sure both the photo booth and the Social Sharing are connected to a reliable wifi connection. Check that the photo booth is syncing to dropbox by viewing the "dropbox" icon in the bottom right corner of the surface tablet.

PHOTOS ARE TAKING A LONG TIME TO LOAD IN LIVE BOOTH (SOCIAL)

SOLUTION: Clear the cache in LiveBooth settings. However, this most likely means the wifi connection is weak.

IN CAMERA SETTINGS - "TV" SETTING APPEARS SET TO "AUTO"

SOLUTION: On the top right side of the camera, there is a dial. spin the dial until you see "1/160" on the back of the camera. Exit the "configure" screen on Social Booth and then re-enter "configure", you should now see TV set to "1/160"

THERES AN OVERLAY I DON'T RECOGNIZE/FROM A DIFFERENT EVENT ON THE PRINT TEMPLATE

SOLUTION: On the "templates" tab, select "Add Overlay". This will open the same folder as the print templates. Select "#BLANKOVERLAY.JPG". This should clear the overlay to normal (no overlay).

PRINTS ARE COMING OUT MIS-ALIGNED

SOLUTION: Open the paper drawer and remove the paper and plungers together. Bang the plungers against the floor (if it's clean) or photo booth case to re-align the paper.
